Description
Horse ridge is a great place for an early Winter hike. It is the low hill on the right hand side of Route 20 as it climbs up from the Badlands towards Millican. This is one of the less-visited spots in our area. We may see a couple of mountian bikes but, more likely, we'll have the mountain to ourselves. This is a moderate hike that climbs around 1000 feet. There are many trails so the exact route and distance really depends on the weather, the leader and how everybody feels on the day. David and Diana Eddelstone will lead the hike. Diana is a regular member of our group and David is ONDA's Mr Badlands. Meet at the Starbucks at 20th and 27th at 8am on Saturday Nov 8th. (Note" this is NOT the one in Barnes and Noble nor is it the one in Safeway). It is on the East side of 27th St.
