Join Mary Moynihan, aka "Speedstick", as she walks you 3,000 miles along the Continental Divide Trail. She will tell her story through beautiful imagery and cover details of gear, food, safety and navigation along one of America's premier long-distance trails. The CDT is a 3,000 mile trail beginning at the US/Mexico border and weaves along the backbone of America through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. Dramatic changes in landscape range from the arid Chihuahuan desert, alpine tundra of Colorado's Rocky Mountain Peaks, expansive open range of the Great Divide Basin, lake and glacier infused Wind River Range and the grandiose ice-carved Glacier National Park. By completing the CDT, Mary became a Triple Crown recipient, a highly regarded award given to the few people who have completed the Appalachian, Pacific Crest and Continental Divide Trails, an accumulated distance of more than 8,000 miles.
