The American Economy returns to rock yet another Beer Friday @ Devil's Canyon Brewery in Belmont! Opening the night, The AE hits it @ 6PM + then will be followed by Devil's Canyon favorite Pathetic Honey @ 8:30. tasty tasty beers and bbq, great music + great people! its right by the freeway, via the 101 South Ralston to Harbor exit (412) its bout a 20 min drive from SF. its all ages and free to get in with live music from 6pm - 11pm or so (sometimes later). and you get a free pint glass with your first beer purchase!

The American Economy
Born in San Francisco, CA in the fall of 2006, The American Economy is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Justin Alexander. Seeking to combine the continual freshness of improvisational jams with the catchiness and listenability of indie rock, Justin started playing with John Rybak after the two met in fall of 2006. Soon after, the two met up with Mike Bynes and Mike Thonus (the Mikes) through jam sessions as part of the Stuck in the Mire series at Blondie's Bar and No Grill in San Francisco's Mission District.
