Improvisation - Grades 4-6

In its simplest form, IMPROV is acting on the spot without a script.  This class explores characterization, movement, working as an ensemble, thinking outside the box, listening and responding, using your voice, body and imagination.  The class will be filled with fun theatre games and improvisation structures.

The skills of improvisation can apply to many different abilities or forms of communication and expression across all artistic, cognitive, academic and non-academic disciplines.  For example, improvisation can make a significant contribution in music, dance, sports, presenting a speech, interview skills, sales, interpersonal relationships and much more. 

Times: Tuesdays, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
