Description
This course equips young people to handle the job of babysitting, including essential care-giving and decision-making skills, safety skills to prevent and respond to emergencies and tips on finding and interviewing for babysitting jobs. Participants receive an American Red Cross Babysitter's Training Certificate. A babysitter handbook, emergency reference guide, a CD Rom and backpack are also provided at the end of the class. Taught by an authorized Red Cross instructor. Bring a sack lunch, a baby doll and a toy. Register by 11/2/09. For ages 11 - 15. Cost: $50.00 with Babysitter's Backpack
