A History of Bird Conservation with Mary Anne Weber

From Aristotle’s theory of transmutation to present day global threats, we will take a trip through time and discover our roots in the world of bird conservation. In addition, several of the Houston Audubon education raptors will be on hand to bring the message of bird conservation home. You will never look at a Yellow Jacket wasp or a cup of coffee the same way!

Mary Anne is currently the Education Director for the Houston Audubon Society and manages their Sims Bayou Nature Center. She specializes in bird and conservation issues
