The Black Panel

Amid the backdrop of the Black Market, Paddy and Andy bring only the largest collection of homegrown comicbooks available anywhere in Ireland. Creators cover many regions, age ranges, genres and interests: a bubblin fountain of creativity.

In co-operation with the Black Box and Trans, the Black Market occurrs on the first Sunday of the month and is entirely free. There are local badgemakers, fresh cupcakes, classic vinyl, independent literature and art. It's a fantastic portal to Belfast's underground culture.

Payment goes straight to artists, who are happy enough to chat with visitors. The Black Box provides the space, and exhibitors each make a donation to charity in exchange. Made of Win.
