Twenty indoor ÂÂ"roomsÂÂ" and acres of outdoor gardens feature dazzling living floral displays, opulent ornaments, stunning trees, a half-million lights and dancing fountains. Renowned ice skaters perform daily in a fairy-tale setting. Enjoy holiday music throughout the Gardens with strolling carolers, festive organ sing-alongs along with evening performances including choral groups, madrigal singers and handbell choirs. Celebrate with us during a special family-friendly New Year's Eve at Longwood. Families can enjoy face painting, balloon artists and a craft station just for kids! Enjoy hot chocolate and other tasty refreshments throughout the Gardens. A spectacular 5-minute fireworks display tops off the fun at 9:15pm. Gardens close at 10:00 pm. Please note that in the case of extreme weather conditions such as high wind gusts, the fireworks show will be cancelled. After exiting, turn right onto Route 222 (Jacob Tome Rd.). Almost immediately the road becomes Route 275 (Don't continue on Route 222, which turns to the left). A few miles later when Route 275 ends at a "T" intersection, make a right turn onto Route 276. Take Route 276 to Route 1 North, which in approximately 4 miles crosses into Pennsylvania. Stay on Route 1 beyond Kennett Square until Longwood's entrance ramp is reached.
