Monday Night Supper Club at Vandiver Inn Date: Monday March 22 2010 Event Time: 6:45pm (Dinner at 7) Cost:$18.99 per person (pay at the event site) Meetup Fee: $0.50 Remember, the meetup fee serves two purposes. 1st, the fee helps offset the cost of the semi annual meetup fees and other miscellaneous expenses incurred by the group. 2nd, the fee serves to reduce the number of no-shows at any given event. The number of no-shows has greatly been reduced as a result which means a more enjoyable time for all. I can refund the meetup fee up to the day before the event, so feel free to sign up, as you can change your mind later. If you are prepaid, you can just email me that you will attend, and I will change your RSVP for you. I just ask that you tell me if you change your mind, you let me know as soon as you can. The Vandiver Inn is an 1886 Victorian mansion located two blocks from the Chesapeake Bay in historic Havre de Grace, Maryland The Monday Night Supper Club is every Monday at 7pm. They serve a family style gourmet dinner in the historic dining rooms, front porch or outdoor Pavilion. Each dinner includes a starter, soup or salad, two entrees, 2 or more sides and dessert. March 22: Pan-Asian favorites: Bahn Mi, Salmon Bulgobi (I think they mean Bulgoki), Stir fried Chinese Broccoli and other MNSC Asian favorites As everyoneÂÂ's tastes are different, IÂÂ'll post this every week and make the reservations under Rose or Meetup. I may or may not attend depending on the menu, of course (check my RSVP). These are just general directions from their website or from Harford County area. Getting here from I-95 Exit 89 (Havre de Grace): Coming from the north, turn LEFT at end of exit. Coming from the south, bear RIGHT at end of exit. Follow signs for Havre de Grace. YouÂÂ'll be on Rt 155. Stay to the left on 155. 155 will split off w/US-40, but stay STRAIGHT. Eventually the road youÂÂ're on will force you to make a hard right onto JUNIATA. Proceed a few blocks and turn LEFT at the light onto OTSEGO. Go a few blocks and Otsego will force you to make a hard right onto UNION. Vandiver is 7-8 blocks on your left at the corner of SOUTH UNION and FOUNTAIN. ************* US-40, from the South: Pass thru Aberdeen and Rt 22, and continue to Havre de Grace. After you cross Oakington Rd, bear right onto ÂÂ"OLD POST RDÂÂ" (look for signs to ÂÂ"Historic Havre de Grace Downtown and MarinaÂÂ"). Old Post Rd will become Revolution. Turn LEFT onto UNION Ave. Vandiver is two blocks on your right. US-40, from the North: Cross the Susquehanna River (Hatem Bridge). Get in the left hand lane and turn LEFT at the light onto OTSEGO. Go a few blocks and Otsego will force you to make a hard right onto UNION. Vandiver is 7-8 blocks on your left at the corner of UNION and FOUNTAIN.
