"Marley and Me" An ambitious young reporter, John Grogan, and his wife, Jenny, also a reporter, move to Florida, buy a house and adopt a Labrador puppy they name Marley. Marley quickly becomes a rollicking force of nature in their lives. The critics give this movie a "C+" but the general public give it a "B+". I read this book and found it to be very entertaining and enjoyable. The stories of Marley and his exploits will tug at your heartstrings and maybe remind you of a pet who had once shared your life. If the movie is half as delightful as the book then it will be a good and fun movie event. The movie starts at 7:00PM and I will be in the lobby just after 6:30PM After the movie we can all head over to McMenamin's Cedar Hills for a bite to eat and a beverage, plus a little movie conversation.
