Description
Learning Digital Photography Level 5 - File Management
This is Day Five of Photography Boot Camp -
Ok, so you've got all these great photos and you're saving them on your computer, now what?
The 6 hours of this seminar are all in the classroom. Class size is significantly limited to assure personalized attention when we are out shooting.
What you'll learn in this class
In this seminar I'll demonstrate some methods of managing your files so you can find them when you want them. We'll also deal with using those images for some of the many applications that you have for your photos. Here's some of the many topics we'll discuss:
Handling images as they come from the camera.
Storing images in a managed fashion on your computer.
Protecting your images from damage or loss.
Resizing your images for various applications.
Emailing your images.
Preparing your images to print.
This is just an outline of the topics we'll discuss. I'll show you a lot of different ways to handle your images and end up with the files you want in the future. You'll have the opportunity to get your questions answered in a way that will be meaningful. If you've got a notebook computer you might want to bring it along so you can practice some of the methods I'll be demonstrating. This seminar will last about 6 hours with a 1-hour lunch break at noon. Please come prepared with a notepad as you may want to take notes on some our discussion.
