221 ACRES . . . FIVE FACILITIES . . . ONE FORD PARK!
Ford Fields opened first in 2002. It is comprised of twelve championship caliber fast pitch softball/youth baseball fields. Each has hard covered stands and all-weather in-fields. The Fields complex has one centralized gate, concessions and restrooms and 1,000 on-site parking spaces.
Ford Fields has a brand new image with newly installed synthetic turf by Olympia Athletic, the same supplier to the new Yankee Stadium! The new monofilament yarn system has the following advantages over the fiberlated yarn: smoother and softer, twice the strength, better UV resistance, better appearance retention, color is more realistic and consistent look from day 1.
Ford Park has installed Olympia turf on eight in-fields due to the inclement weather in Southeast Texas. With this new turf there will be much faster drainage, leading to fewer rainouts. Rain or shine – Play Ball!
For info about renting Ford Fields, contact Cindy at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 409-951-5405. The Southeast Texas Baseball Academy baseball tournaments are organized by Morgan Walker, a former professional baseball player and part owner of the Southeast Texas Baseball Academy. Co-owner Jason Tyner played for the Minnesota Twins and the Detroit Lions. The Academy, located near Ford Fields, offers professional instruction in batting, fielding and pitching to area youth.

The 8,500 seat multi-purpose Ford Arena is the home to ABA Southeast Texas' Mavericks. The Arena also hosts concerts, rodeos, circuses, motor sports, ice shows and many other special events. There's always something going on at Ford Arena! Ford Exhibit Hall has 48,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and is attached to the Arena, offering a combined 83,000 sq. ft. of contiguous space. The Exhibit Hall includes eight individual meeting rooms, 11,000 sq. ft.of lobby/pre-function space, a full-service kitchen for catering, concessions and restrooms. Ford Midway is home to the YMBL-sponsored South Texas State Fair, which draws an attendance of over 400,000 a year. With 9 acres of paved midway, there is plenty of room for festivals, fairs, and rodeos. Structures in Ford Midway include a 45,000 sq. ft. practice arena, over 25,000 sq. ft. of covered barn space and a dedicated parking area.
