For Dia, the Yvonne Rainer retrospective program represents the continuation of its institutional commitment to presenting innovative performance and dance events. It will celebrate the depth of Rainer's contributions to dance, and provide a unique opportunity to consider her practice in the context of her peers whose visual art works are on view at Dia:Beacon.
