LSU Alumni Association Bridal Show and Open House

The LSU Alumni Association will host a bridal show and open house on Sunday, March 21, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, giving brides-to-be a chance to tour the alumni center and Cook Hotel, view bridal party fashions, sample great food and get fabulous ideas from more than 20 wedding vendors.

The Lod Cook Alumni Center, located along West Lakeshore Drive on the LSU lakes, houses nine meeting rooms and can accommodate groups as large as 300 for wedding receptions. The alumni center is conveniently located next to the Cook Hotel, a luxury hotel with more than 50 suites and five mega suites, which can double as the wedding headquarters and the honeymoon suite for the bridal couple.

During the bridal show, participants will have the chance to win door prizes, including a grand prize trip from Malcolm Travel, a hotel suite giveaway, bridal gift baskets, massages and more. Brides-to-be will also get the chance to see bridal party fashions at a 2 p.m. runway show, taste samples from the Lod Cook Alumni Center's exclusive caterer, see demonstrations of bridal hair and makeup from local artists and meet with wedding vendors for items including flowers, photography, jewelry, wedding registries, music, video, invitations, wedding coordinators, travel agents, etc.
