About Alan Steed

Alan lives in Barrie, Ontario. Originally from the U.K., he moved to Canada in 1989, and has been teaching in the Public School system since then. In England, he completed a 3-year course in caring for mentally challenged people, and also has a Bachelor of Theology degree, which he has found exceptionally helpful in understanding psychological, religious, philosophical, and spiritual concepts. He particularly enjoyed the year long course on pastoral care and counseling.

Alan has always been interested in healing and spirituality, and has been taking courses on various healing modalities over the last few years. He is a Reiki Master/Practitioner, and also offers interactive workshops on various topics, including Contacting the Other Side - Opening up to Your Psychic Abilities, Healing Yourself Into Wholeness, the Law of Attraction, Manifesting Joy in Your Life, and other spiritually-related topics.

He is a member of the Spiritualist Church of Canada, and has been visiting churches in Southern Ontario and Calgary giving lectures and workshops on various aspects of spirituality, and bringing through messages from departed loved ones during the services. He is a co-founder of the Spiritualist Society of Barrie (www.spiritualistsocietyofbarrie.com).

He is a practicing medium, and provides several services in the Barrie area and beyond, including private spiritual readings, house party readings, Reiki healing sessions, Reiki Attunement classes, and Meditation.
