1st intercambio after "Reyes" !!!

This Wednesday will feel like a Monday to many of us...ie: 1st day back to work after the Xmas break...well...what better way to attack the "back to work blues" than with friends and cocktails! And you'll have loads of stories to tell one another! This intercambio is the tip of a big iceberg so visit ENGLISH OASIS CAFE site for more info Our second weekly social intercambio (language exchange) is at a cool cocktail bar (our other is Tuesday at La Cigale) Don't miss out on the opportunity to meet new people and improve your target language, whether it be English or Spanish. It doesn't matter if your Spanish is horrible. As always, ignore the official RSVPs as they are no reflection of attendance (would I be doing this twice a week if no one showed?!) Usually between 15 and 25 people come to each of our intercambios. Our local members will be only too delighted to speak to you in English! I introduce you to regulars and get you speaking Spanish / English and introduce you to regulars. They are the people to ask any questions you may have about life in Barcelona, after all, it's their home-turf! If you do want to try out your Spanish, they you get a double bonus. Not only do you gain all the social advantages, but the linguistic ones as well! How does it work? * We form international groups of 4-6 people * We give out name tags * We offer news topics of interest to maximise conversation & expand vocabulary * we use language bells to encourage that and equal share of English / Spanish is spoken * and , and go around tables ensure dynamics are working well. Only two euro for first timers, four euro from then on. Don't worry if no one has signed up for this meet up.
