The festival, which has been held annually since 1948, featured a parade and a visit from the Cherokee Indians of North Carolina, Arts & Crafts Village on Thursday, Friday and Saturday-visit craft vendors from several states as they set up and sell homemade items; quilt contest, food booths, pioneer village and long rifle shootout.
