Description
Peabody Preparatory Adult & Continuing offers 8-week mini-session on Saturdays from 2-3 pm from 11/7/09 - 01/16/10. Class designed to provide intro to music of non-Western cultures: India, Indonesia, Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia, and Latin America. Each unique music-culture explored in 2-3 week sessions thru film, demonstration, participation, listening and lecture/discussion. No prior technical knowledge of music required. Minimum 10 students.
