Description
Broadcaster Joe Castiglione will discuss his 26 year career as a play-by play announcer for the Red Sox. He will take an in-depth look at this year’s season and answer questions. His book will be available for visitors to have signed.
Joe began his broadcasting career in Youngstown, Ohio broadcasting football games for $15 a game. After a brief period in calling games for the Cleveland Indians, he joined the Red Sox broadcast tem in 1983. Besides broadcasting, he currently lectures at Northeastern University where he teaches a course on sports broadcasting. In 2004, Joe published a book called Broadcast Rites and Sites: I Saw It on the Radio with the Red Sox.
