Description
This exhibit is a compelling testament to the complex societal roles of Black women, derived from the imagery of multi-generational African-American women artists who are bound by their personal experiences as mothers, daughters, and sisters; and the effort to maintain their self-identity. The Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, October 25th from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. An Artists' Talk will take place on Sunday, November 15th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
