Switchfoot returns to the room just in time for the Christmas season. If you missed them last time around catch up with the guys and the new album Hello Hurricane at the Rams Head Live. Don't forget to bring non-perishable can goods! These guys use their platform to do a great thing in a time of need. Whoop Whoop can goods!

Howdy, my name is jon. I play guitar and sing in a San Diego band called Switchfoot. We started out as a three piece: Tim (my brother) playing the bass, Chad, (my college buddy) playing the drums, and myself writing the tunes. Our first record came out the week after my brother graduated from high school. We called it: The Legend of Chin, naming it after my best friend. Willis. We traveled around that summer and went back to school in the fall. A few years later we put out a record called New Way to be Human and I dropped out of college. Blitzen Trapper are a sextet based out of Portland, Oregon. In various combinations and guises, the group had already played a long time together before the "crystalization event" in July 2000 on the slopes of the famous volcano, Mt Hood. Since then the B. Trapp. have delighted audiences of all ages and socioeconomic groups, mostly playing close to home and for many years distributing recordings like itinerant madmen, for free.
