2nd Battle of Martinsville Virginia - Civil War Reenactment

Sons of Confederate Veterans Stuart-Hairston Camp 515 invite you to join them at the Smith River Sports Complex, with more than 60 acres of open fields, to witness the 2nd Battle of Martinsville, a Civil War reenactment, encampment and living history weekend. You'll have the opportunity to see sutlers, artillery, horses and more. Meet Colonel Keith Cornelius, commander of the Confederate Forces and Colonel Lance Dawson, commander of the Federal Forces.

With the armies of the French Broad and the States Rights Volunteers there will be substantial calvary and artillery to make the battle truly come to life. Battles will be held both days with full size guns, artillery, infantry and calvalry. Bounty for horses and artillery.
