The Frank Erwin Center, formally known as The Frank C. Erwin, Jr. Special Events Center, is a multi-purpose arena located on The University of Texas at Austin campus. Its notable cylindrical exterior has earned The Frank Erwin Center such nicknames as, “The Drum” and “The Superdrum”, but the venue is arguably best known for being home to the NCAA's Texas Longhorns. The Frank Erwin Center Austin comes equipped with indoor and outdoor electronic video signs, a seated capacity of 16,500+, over 28 suites, and the Lone Star Room reception hall.
