Twin Oaks Branch CLOSED for 2 1/2 Months at Where2301 S. Congress Avenue, Austin, TX (map)

On Tuesday, June 1, 2010 the Twin Oaks Branch of the Austin Public Library located in South Central Austin at 2301 S. Congress Avenue will close its doors for approximately 2 1/2 months to prepare for opening in the newly constructed library building located at 1800 South Fifth Street, at the corner of South Fifth St and West Mary Street. The projected Grand Opening for the new Twin Oaks Branch is August 21, 2010 and the Austin Public Library will partner with the community to make the event a very special and festive occasion. For interim library service please visit the Faulk Central Library, 800 Guadalupe Street, the Ruiz Branch, 1600 Grove Boulevard, or the Manchaca Road Branch, 5500 Manchaca Road. All library services at the Twin Oaks Branch will stop on June 1, 2010. Books cannot be returned to the current location of the Twin Oaks Branch after June 1.
