In April of 1911 the Austin Symphony Orchestra played its first public concert at the Hancock Opera House. To celebrate the Austin Symphony Orchestra’s Centennial year, the Austin History Center presents a new exhibit Sounding Together: 100 Years of the Austin Symphony. The exhibit will be on display in the Grand Hallway and Lobby of the Austin History Center, 810 Guadalupe Street, from September 13, 2011 to February 12, 2012.
