Rowing Boot-Camp (Rowing Boot-Camp) at Postal code 78758, US

About the class: This Indoor Rowing Class combines rowing intervals with dynamic body-weight exercises, such as push-ups, sit-ups, jump rope, body squats, and more! Some weights may be involved, as well as some running. As with any Flywheel class, all exercises can be scaled to any level. If you are concerned about a particular movement, just ask us! This class last approximately 45 minutes. We suggest brining a towel and a water bottle. Wear running shoes. About the teacher: Sara-Mai Conway is the owner of Flywheel Fitness, and also teaches classes. A rower since the age of 12, Sara-Mai first competed on a national championship high school team, and continues to compete on a national level, having won two USRowing Masters National Championships (2003 and 2006), three championship titles at the prestigious San Diego Crew Classic (2007, 2008, 2009), and four top-10 finishes at the Head of the Charles Regatta (2000, 2002, 2006, 2009). Ms. Conway has also had considerable success as a coach. Over an eight year career in coaching Division I Women's Rowing, Sara-Mai has led teams to several regional titles as well as a 2008 National Championship. Although she takes great pride in her athletes who have followed their dreams to row on the US National team, her greatest accomplishment is the every day challenge of turning someone on to the sport of rowing and seeing the subtle (and not-so-subtle) changes that take place as people discover their inner athlete.
