About the class: The Indoor Rowing Class is open to everyone! Beginners and advanced rowers alike. This is our standard session, and as with all Flywheel classes, we'll give you the workout - you control the intensity. Indoor Rowing begins with a warm-up and a drill to emphasize proper technique. Indoor Rowing begins with a warm-up and a drill to emphasize proper technique. The body of the class consists of a varying, tough interval workout, and finishes with a brief cool-down and some stretching.
This class last approximately 45 minutes. We suggest brining a towel and a water bottle. About the teacher: Patrick Kelly has been coaching rowing for 15 years at the Club, Masters and Division I Level. He has coached crews to championship titles at several top events, including the San Diego Crew Classic, the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, and the West Coast Conference Championships. Patrick began his rowing career in college and continues to row. Mr. Kelly holds three Masters National Championship titles (2003, 2006, 2006) and has been a member of the US Surfboat Rowing team, competing in World Surfboat Rowing Championships in Australia and Italy. Patrick holds a USRowing Level III Coaching Certification, as well as a CrossFit Level I Certification and a CrossFit Rowing Specialty Certification.
