Connections Intensive Retreat: June 29-July 1, 2012

Candidates in the process of becoming a Certified Connections Facilitator (CCF) need to register for and attend an Intensive Retreat before moving into the webinar and case consultation phase of certification. To register for an Intensive Retreat, candidates must have completed the 3-Day Connections National Training.

WHEN: The Connections Intensive Retreat will be held Friday, June 29 through Sunday, July 1, 2012.

WHO: Robert Hilliker and Eric Williams will be co-facilitating all Intensive Retreats.

INTENSIVE RETREAT LOCATION: The Intensive Retreats will be held at Travaasa-Austin, a scenic resort and spa, just outside of Austin, Texas. To learn about this beautiful and serene property, feel free to peruse their website: www.travaasa.com/austin/.

INTENSIVE RETREAT REGISTRATION FEE: Enrollment in each Intensive Retreat is limited to 20 participants. The Intensive Retreat fee of $1,950 includes double occupancy lodging for two nights (Friday and Saturday) and all food and beverage for the entire weekend (begininng with lunch on Friday and ending with a mid-morning snack on Sunday). The fee does not include any spa services that participants would like to receive during the weekend.

SCHEDULE: Intensive Retreats are held over a 3-day weekend, starting at 12 noon on Friday and ending at approximately 1:00 pm on Sunday. Participants must be present for the entire Intensive Retreat to get credit and to move forward in their certification process.

DOUBLE OCCUPANCY: Participants will be paired with a roommate. Approximately two weeks prior to your Intensive Retreat, you will receive by email a packet of information, including your room assignment. The packet will include a more detailed weekend agenda and information on any items you will be asked to bring with you (for example, the Connections Curriculum calls for an art project and you might be asked to bring items you could use for your project).

TRIP EXTENDER: Travaasa-Austin will offer registered participants discounted room rates for the one night preceeding and one night following the Intensive Retreat weekend. Those reservations will need to be made directly with Travaasa-Austin at 855-868-7282.

Check-in time is after 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

LICENSURE: The curriculum was designed for helping professionals. Facilitators should have the appropriate licensure and/or training to do psycho-educational work with groups, as dictated by their accrediting entity.

CEU's: CEUs are not offered for Intensive Retreats.

SMOKE FREE: Travaasa-Austin operates as a smoke-free hotel.

REFUND POLICY: All requests for refunds must be made in writing. A full refund (less $85 administrative fee) will be given if notice of cancellation is by May 27, 2012. A refund will not be given after May 27, 2012.
