Austin Monthly's Music Issue Release Party at Emo's East

And every year there is a new crop of on-the-cusp acts that are releasing buzz-worthy albums, playing sold out shows and garnering raves from critics and fans alike. For the sixth year in a row, we singled out 10 bands that are in that on-the-verge-of-hitting-it-big group.

We are celebrating these bands at our annual Music Issue party at 7 p.m., Friday, March 2, at Emo's East. Several of the bands will be playing for the crowd, including Soul Track Mind, Akina Adderley & The Vintage Playboys, Not in the Face and Wiretree. The event is free and open to the public.
