It's REBECCA HAVEMEYER here tellin'' each and every one of ya' that if ya' don't make it to see this film, then ya' may as well check ya'self into the nearest looney-bin! HEY HOMO! has taken it upon ourselves to send a bullet straight to ya' gay hearts with the picture that revolutionized the role of lousy men running a world of intelligent women. We offer you all a hell of a' brunch with...THE WOMEN. This film has ONLY WOMEN in it...and when I say ONLY WOMEN, I mean down to the animals used in it! The whole blazin' picture is about adulterous men and not a one of 'em appears in the flick! You gotta see it to believe it, kittens! The cast? Let's just say: Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell, Norma Shearer...you gotta be kiddin' me!! This is ya' history, people. This is ya' destiny! Join ya' ol bucket of love as I thrill ya' to the brim with enough doo-dads and joy ta' kill a saucy pig twice! You would regret missing this until the end of your days.

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is Austin's only independently owned and operated movie theater. We serve a full menu of dinner and drinks to your seat while you watch the movie. The theater is laid out like a traditional movie theater, except every other row of seats has been replaced with a long narrow table for your food and drinks. Those who have never been to the Alamo may worry about disruptions during the movie, but we have devised an ordering system that minimizes interaction during the film, allowing you to order, eat and enjoy the movie with minimal distraction. We recommend arriving early; seating begins 45 minutes before the show and there is always pre-movie entertainment on the screen while you wait for the movie. We have waiters that serve you at your seat; orders before the movie begins are taken in the traditional way. Once the movie starts if you need anything at all, there is paper and pencils at the table, write down what you need on the paper, stand the paper up on the card holder attached to the table. This acts as a flag, your waiter will only come by if he sees the card, otherwise he will stay out of your way so you can enjoy the film.The Alamo Drafthouse Theater box office opens 45 minutes before all scheduled showtimes. Patrons are welcome to enjoy drinks and appetizers before the film. A rotating program of vintage cartoons and shorts play before the film. Advance tickets are now available online for all shows.
General Admission to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is $7.00, $5.50 student/senior (60+)/AFS/Heroes of the Alamo members. All patrons must be 18 years or older or be accompanied by a parent. Children under 6 are not admitted at any time. Some special event screenings are higher priced, please check the individual show listings for accuarte pricing.
