EVENT: Congress Avenue Walk DATE: Wednesday, November 11 TIME: 6:30 pm CONTACT: Bruce, 636-6999, brucecorman@yahoo.com LOCATION: One Texas Center Security, 505 Barton Springs Rd After the time change, our weekday walks go urban. We'll walk from One Texas Center over the river and back down south (about 30 minutes) to work up an appetite for pizza. After dinner at Home Slice Pizza, we'll take the more direct route (about 20 minutes) back to the cars. NOTE on PARKING: The One Texas Center Garage (and surface lot) is available to the public after 6:00 PM on weekdays. AVOID THE NO PARKING AREAS, MARKED WITH SIGNS THAT ARE NOT ALWAYS EASY TO SEE. The garage is located next to the Homestead Suites Hotel on the south east corner of Barton Springs Road and South First Street behind the One Texas Center building. The garage may be accessed by Haywood Avenue (off of Riverside Drive), the drive off of Barton Springs Road, or the drive off of South First Street.
