Art Alliance Austin seeks artists to submit their work for consideration for a prized booth spot at Art City Austin (formerly the Austin Fine Arts Festival) 2010. This annual outdoor fair is set against streets, plazas, and green spaces on the edge of Austin's flourishing and hip downtown shopping and arts district.
Any artist may enter their work for the jury to consider. The deadline to apply is November 15, 2009 and all applications must be submitted electronically through www.zapplication.org. The Cost is a $35 non-refundable jury fee.
2010 Best in Show 2-D and 3-D winners receive $1,000 cash award and Best in Media winners receive $100. All winners receive automatic acceptance into the 2011 festival.
Please note that only original artwork may be hung at the festival. Accepted artists may sell 2-D reproductions of their original artwork provided the print is unframed, labeled as a reproduction, and displayed in one bin only.
