Committee of the Whole at City Hall

Committee of the Whole is composed of all members of the City Council and meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the 5th Floor Conference Room at City Hall. Committee of the Whole Meetings are open to the public.

The Committee of the Whole receives the reports of all City Council subcommittees (Finance, Government Operations, Planning & Development, and Environment & Water Quality), deliberates on them prior to Council consideration and recommends to the Council whatever action it deems appropriate regarding each item. The Committee of the Whole shall also consider such other matters as may be referred to it by the City Council, by the Mayor or by individual Aldermen.
