Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra :: Monday, November 8th
"MJO Presents" is an innovative program that supports jazz in our schools by featuring a different high school jazz ensemble in a joint concert each month. During this concert, student musicians gain the valuable experience of performing in a nationally recognized jazz club with a professional big band. The MJO follows the school performance with a sizzling set of cutting edge LA/NY big band jazz, swinging standards and tasty vocals featuring the music of Michael Buble, Mel Torme, Dianne Schuur and many others. Reservations are strongly suggested as these evenings sell out fast! :: $10
