This is a five-day course with the Foundation paper taken on the afternoon of the third day and the Practitioner exam taken on the afternoon of the fifth day.The course is designed to provide you with a working understanding of structured project management as presented in PRINCE2, to a level where you can use it to manage projects and pass both the APMG PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner examinations.
You will learn:

The PRINCE2 project management method
The implications of using and implementing PRINCE2
To apply the principles of PRINCE2 to projects
To manage quality and risk
To deliver projects on time, within budget and to the specified business case.

Topics covered:

The eight PRINCE2 processes, and how they are used throughout the life cycle of a project
Components - identifying each component of a PRINCE2 project, and how it supports Project, Risk and Quality Management
Applying PRINCE2 in practice
Unique immersion case study practical exercise
Exam preparation – review of key exam topics; how to answer; mock exams marked by the trainer; and personal feedback for each delegate

 
The course price includes exam fees, the Crazy Colour CDROM for PRINCE2, a Crazy Colour Card for PRINCE2 Processes, pre-course reading material and an OGC PRINCE2 manual, training fees, snacks and lunches.Each course is Mon-Fri, from 9am - 5pm, with homework assigments in the evenings.2009 Auckland course dates:
