I LOVE THE CURE! they are way before my time but i love them! Im always watching the crow and always quoting them. My band did covers of so many of their albums before we broke up. I used to be the singer and we all used to dress up like them, move like them and sing or play like them. i wish they would come here!

I'm saying this on behalf of my older sister. She loves the cure to death.I am yet to meet anyone who loves them as much as she does, she quotes cure lyrics all the time in convo, owns practically the whole back catalogue of their albums, singles,on mostly vinyl but some cds.I could not say anything would make her any more happier than to experience a concert that she has literally dreamed about, and meet her hero Robert smith in the flesh. The cure haven't come back to Auckland since 1990 at the Auckland town hall.I think its more than about time that they graced their shores with their awesome heartfelt music.I know that this concert would sell out in a matter of minutes if it was confirmed! New Zealand's ready and waiting..get the cure over here!!

Robert Smith writes the most beautiful and heartfelt music I have ever heard. The Cure have being going strong since the mid 80's and there has never been a better time to see them then now, before we lose our chance.

It would the most amazing experiance to have The Cure in our little country. But as a New Zealander I know that we would make it worth their while.

The Cure's bio and tour dates
The Cure
It all started in 1976 as 'Easy Cure', formed by Robert Smith (vocals, guitar) along with schoolmates Michael Dempsey (bass), Lol Tolhurst(drums) and local guitar hero Porl Thompson. In 1978 the 'Easy' was dropped, along with Porl, and an eager trio now known simply as The Cure were quickly signed to Chris Parry's new Fiction label. In May 1979 their debut album Three Imaginary Boys was released to great acclaim, and as the band toured extensively around the UK, the singles “Boys Don't Cry” and ...
