Description
This provocative play, written by transgendered lesbian activist Kate Bornstein, juxtaposes the stories of two real people dealing with gender identity. The first is a modern man who transitions to a woman; the second is a young woman in Victorian France who physically develops into a male, and is forced by an unforgiving society to reidentify her gender. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
