Variety Playhouse

The Variety Playhouse is a theater and nightclub venue located in Atlanta, Georgia. Opened in 1940, the Variety Playhouse Atlanta began life as a movie theater named, The Euclid - a reference to its address to this day, 1099 Euclid Avenue. It then went through a series of owners and functions until 1989, when it became the Variety Playhouse Atlanta as we know it today.

A combined theater / nightclub venue, the Variety Playhouse Atlanta is equipped with dancing and standing areas, tables, chairs and theater-style seats. Unparalleled acoustics and an intimate setting have seen the Variety Playhouse Atlanta become a firm favorite with fans and performers alike. Indeed, the venue's stature within the music industry is evident when you consider that Jason Mraz, The Kooks, New Pornographers, Kate Nash, The Hold Steady, Colbie Caillat, The Swell Season, Ryan Adams, Howie Day and Gnarls Barkley are just a few of those featured on the Variety Playhouse schedule in the past.
