How do we align our job, our finances, our community, and our faith? Money and Meaning is a half-day session that seeks to help answer that question.
We're bringing together a group of people who seek to combine what they believe with how they earn and spend their money, merging daily economic transactions with "God's economy." Come join a group of people who see the intersection of money and meaning as imperative to building good business and a strong community, and hear from entrepreneurs and investors who are using their talents--both financial and spiritual--to feed the world.
Moderated by Joy Anderson, president of the Criterion Institute and head of the Church as an Economic Being initiative, we'll discuss efforts already underway, including a small microloan program run out of Kairos Church in South Atlanta, a values-driven startup organization increasing the income of people living in poverty in Nicaragua, and institutional efforts by churches to investing pension funds in ways that better reflect their values. And we want to hear from you also!
