Description:
ECE Library orientation sessions provide an overview of Library services that are offered to students (such as interlibrary loan) and a review of selected Library databases that are useful to students in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (such as GIL Catalog, INSPEC, and NTIS). Detailed handouts will be provided.Although customized for electrical and computer engineering students, other students are welcome to attend these classes. Please contact Bette Finn for additional information or for further information, or if you have schedule conflicts (additional class sessions can be scheduled), or if you would like a class customized for your lab group. Most classes last an hour and a half to two hours. The Georgia Tech Library is a creative partner and essential force in the learning community and in the Institute's instructional, learning and research programs. The Library plans, develops and implements programs to provide expert staff, information, learning resources and information competencies to students, faculty, and staff and selected services to off campus clients. Using appropriate technology, the Library delivers resources to satisfy information needs, promote lifelong learning and create productive connections for the scholarly community.
