    This place is WACK! The scene is full of young college kids. Candy Sims of Bigs Entertainment approached me to have a birthday party on a Friday night. It's called the "Perfect Birthday Party". She offered all of my guest to get in free before 12 Midnight that are on my guest list and $20 there after. But all of my guest had to pay! NOT one person got in FREE...this is a SCAM! The promoter holds the line until 12 midnight so you will have to pay. My guest were in before 11 pm and still had to pay. How embarrassing! The birthday party was even worse! No one from UPTOWN showed us where to set up the party, we noticed during the night there were over 15 other people that were approached with the same SCAM! Once Candy gets ahold of your list you are left in the dark about how your party will be set up....cake, balloons, bottles, guest,etc... DON'T GET FOOLED LIKE WE DID. ITS NOT A LOUNGE ITS A CLUB....COLLEGE KIDS WILL LOVE THIS PLACE....THERE IS NOTHING UPSCALE ABOUT UPTOWN!
