Description
Atlanta, GA – Southern Exposure, the successful weekly live music series
at Blake's on the Park, is proud to present its established roster of
GLBT musicians – renowned, rising and underground – at Front Page News
(Midtown) on Friday, July 4th & Saturday, July 5th, for the first annual
Southern Exposure Gay Pride Music Festival.
The festival will feature 14 local groups and two national musicians
over the two-day event. From solo artists to full bands, all fronted
by GLBT performers, the styles of music include folk, spoken word,
electronica, punk, country, and rock.

Free. Representatives from Chriskids.org will be on hand both nights to accept contributions for homeless and displaced GLBT youth in Atlanta. This is a grassroots effort to raise awarenessand create a positive impact in the community. More info can be found at www.chriskids.org The festival is free to the public. Tracy Rice
New to the US music scene, solo acoustic singer/songwriter Tracy Rice is fast becoming known for her powerful alto, no-holds-barred lyrics, and passionate delivery. Rice is a consummate entertainer, delighting first-time audiences with a blend of Canadian good humour, husky vocals, and some rock snarl. Her wide-ranging style is most often penned as "pop rock with country influences," but she's been described in various combinations of acoustic, folk, rock, pop, country, americana, and "blue-eyed soul".
