Description
The Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, which has more than 400 members, will host the 27th Annual National Philanthropy Day on Thursday, November 10, 2009 at the Georgia Aquarium. Newly-appointed Georgia State University head football coach Bill Curry will co-emcee the event. Two distinguished awards will be given out including the 2099 Philanthropist of the Year award to Pete and Ada Lee Correll along with the 2009 Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year award which will be given to Edward S. Heys, Jr.
