The Highballs are an Athens, GA based, high-energy dance band known
best for their unstoppable zest for the retro-rock and pop hits of the
'80s. The musicians' diverse performance backgrounds span multiple
genres and styles with bands like Funkle Ester, Countdown to Ecstasy,
Boulevard, Allison Weiss, The Shut-Ups, The Arcs, Powerload and Rand
Lines Trio. When they're not busy packing dance floors at weddings
and corporate events throughout the Southeast, the band loves nothing
more than to don the '80s duds and entertain the home crowd at The
Melting Point.
