Snorkel with the Manatees Trip at University of Georgia

Trip to Crystal River, Florida to learn about and experience manatees in their natural habitat. SCUBA Certification is not required, but the ability to swim and a calm comfort in the water are recommended.

MANDATORY Pre-Trip Meeting at the Ramsey Student Center Rec Pool, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.

Cost includes transportation, hotel (4 people to a room), boat and park fees and leadership. Meals will be on the road from restaurants. Students should bring money for any food they wish to purchase, including snacks. Snorkel equipment and wetsuits can be rented from the ORC (706-542-GORP).

Travel Info: This trip will depart on Friday at 2 p.m. from the Ramsey Student Center. We will return to Athens around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
