Learn about the equipment and skills needed to safely enjoy outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, biking, horseback riding or walking.

Information includes how to stay dry and warm, hydrated and fed, and protected from sun and bugs. Also information on where to get the best deals on clothing and equipment, how to get in shape for outdoor activities and how to gather resource information about destinations.

Bring a pen and paper for notes. Bring a snack or eat before you arrive. There will be a ten minute break. Handouts will be provided. Also, please feel free to bring any outdoor gear or clothing you would like the instructor to inspect or explain. The information base shared in this clinic will provide you with the skills and safety knowledge to participate in many GORP trips throughout the year.

Cost includes instruction and handouts.
