Description
American Authors & Literary Landmarks, Artistic Heritage, College Campus, Firehouse, Historic Church, Museum, Pony Express, Railroad Heritage, RiverWalk, Covered Bridges, and Veteran Memorial Event. Mon-Fri, 9 to 5; Sat, 10 to 4; Sun, noon to 4. Must finish before office closes. Closed NewYears, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Choice of two trails, one event stamp. City trail is rated 2+ and is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Route takes you to the Lewis and Clark riverfront site, past the Amelia Earhart home, St. Benedict's College, and Victorian and Gothic homes and museums. The country trail is rated 2, paved and gravel roads, not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. It takes you out to the International Forest of Friendship and Warnock Lake.
