Biography Alan James Hutchinson Alan James Hutchinson has been an artist and professional musician for over 30 years. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and inspired by the beautiful mountains and ocean landscapes of New England. He has been teaching privately since 1984 in Nantucket, Nashville, Virginia Beach, Florida and the Florida Keys. His watercolors have been influenced by the impressionist masters and follow a classic transparent style. Alan has recently moved to Cottonwood, Arizona from Melbourne, Florida.
