Winner of three Academy Award nominations as Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay, Woody Allen’s biggest box-office hit is a romantic comedy about Gil (Owen Wilson) and Inez (Rachel McAdams) as a tag-along vacation couple with her parents business trip to Paris. Gil falls in love with the city and thinks they should move there after they are married, but Inez dose not share his romantic notions of the city or the idea that the 1920s was the golden age. When Inez goes off dancing with her friends, Gil walks the streets of Paris, becoming lost and then is transported to the 1920’s , where he meets Cole Ported, Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemmingway and a few other icons of the era. He returns night after night, becoming a part of Paris in the 20’s, but in the end must choose between his fantasy world and reality. ’A movie that’s loving and wistful and often hysterically funny!” – San Francisco Chronicle. ’In Allen’s beguiling and then bedazzling new comedy, nostalgia isn’t at all what it used to be – it’s smarter, sweeter. fizzier and ever so much funnier!” – Wall Street Journal. Ends at 9:20. PG-13
