Big Cat Rescue Entertainment Brings the Wild to Ashtabula Towne Square

September 15-19, 2010 – Big Cat Rescue Entertainment’s prestigious wild animals and powerful educational message are coming to Ashtabula Towne Square.

The 501c3 nonprofit organization will have exotic animals you can see, play with, and hear stories about. Some of the animals include lemurs, baby tigers, coatimundis, a baby kangaroo, and other exotics from the rainforest and beyond.

Big Cat Rescue Entertainment travels year-round spreading its message and educating the public about the dangers of owning exotics that grow to an unwanted size, why exotic animals do not belong with private owners, how to help preserve their environment and protect endangered species, and to raise money for organizations who take in and house abused, neglected, and unwanted exotic animals that have been in captivity.

“We also educate and help those who have exotics to better care for their animals so those animals, too, don't become unwanted. It is our hope that through our efforts we can educate the world about these majestic creatures and prevent more from becoming a statistic or casualties of abuse and neglect,” says Beth Corley, the tour’s animal care specialist.

The display and animals will be at Ashtabula Town Square everyday from 10am to 9 pm beginning September 15th through September 19th . Admission is free and for a small donation, you can have your photo taken with one of these esteemed baby animals.
